Beit Shalom Synagogue

We are a small but lively Progressive Jewish Community in Adelaide, South Australia.

The congregation was founded on the principles of equality and openness among members. We are inclusive of race, gender, class, ethnic background, sex, sexual orientation and ability.

At Beit Shalom you can enjoy a wide range of progressive Jewish activities. We have regular Shabbat services every Friday night and Saturday morning, when we read Torah, throughout the year.

Beit Shalom is a place of welcome for Jewish people and for people of all faiths and no religious faith who want to know more about our rich culture.

We are a focus of Jewish activity in Adelaide that brings people together in social, religious, cultural, spiritual and intellectual fellowship and fun.

Please, if you plan to be in Adelaide, stop by and see us. Or if you’ve never been to a synagogue and want to see what it’s like, call the office to let us know when you plan to visit.
