Support for bushfire victims
At its recent meeting in Adelaide, Rabbi David Kunin advised that the Moetzah made a donation in memory of bushfire victims in New South Wales Queensland and South Australia, and encouraged the UPJ community to provide support.

The Union for Progressive Judaism and the Council of Progressive Rabbis for Australia, New Zealand and Asia expressed their solidarity with the Jewish communities in Germany in the wake of the Halle Yom Kippur attack, which resulted in two deaths.
