Today history was made. The Israeli government has agreed to give unprecedented recognition to Reform and Conservative Judaism at one of Judaism’s holiest places, the Western Wall. Mazel tov to Kathy Kaplan OAM (pictured with Gary Samowitz), who was recognised at Stand Up's annual Ron Castan Humanitarian Awards. Kathy won the award for her advocacy and support of victims of domestic violence through Impact for Women.
