United Indonesian Jewish Community
United Indonesian Jewish Community (UIJC) was founded in October 2010.
It has helped local indonesian jews to have their Jewish home, to meet, to pray, study torah and to do ba’al teshuva. Since 2014 this community has trained and ordained 24 laymen to serve 8 community areas. Therefore these ordained certified leaders support and serve each local area community to celebrate regular shabbat and lead life-cycles rituals.
We now only do once a month national Shabbat gatherings in order to keep in touch one another, and we celebrate that moment to let each kehila and individual to chant Torah.
Proud of having our Jewish members and students from Sanger Talaud (across from Filipina), Bali, Malang East Java and Magelang Central Java also joined to read Torah.
