Recognising the plight of Jews from Arab lands and Iran

The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies’ will host an event on Sunday 26 November at 6.00pm in a Sydney Eastern Suburbs location.  This annual event recognises the plight of Jewish refugees from Arab lands & Iran, who were forced to flee their homes and lands where their families had lived for millennia, and the integral role of Sephardi and Mizrachi Jews in our community. Daniel Aghion KC, Vice-President of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, will speak about his Sephardi family’s journey, as well as Jewish life in Türkiye.
