This year, congregations around the world, including several from the UPJ, are participating in the 6th Annual Reverse Tashlich on Sunday 10 September. The program is sponsored and was created by Repair the Sea | Tikkun HaYam. Reverse Tashlich transforms the symbolism of Tashlich to address the contemporary environmental issue of plastic and marine debris pollution. Instead of symbolically casting our "sins" into the water, participants come together to remove these harmful pollutants from the water, fostering a sense of responsibility and stewardship for the environment.
