The Wilkenfeld International Women's Leadership Seminar, to be held at Beit Shmuel in Jerusalem on 29-31 May 2018, is seeking application from women around the world who want to increase their leadership skills and their international network. Application deadline is 15 September 2017.
The committee is seeking Reform/Progressive/Liberal Jewish women from around the world who are ready to increase their leadership skills. Prior to the seminar, each participant will propose a project for her home community and during the seminar, she will develop strategies and a specific action plan for this project.
The 2016 seminar yielded great results, as illustrated in this quote from Pamela Harris, 2016 participant from Italy:
“I have recently been elected to the board of Beth Hillel, Roma! I look forward to making the most of my Wilkenfeld seminar experience, which gave me the confidence to run in the first place, and such valuable tools and insights for moving forward."
"I have just published an entry in the Italian legal encyclopedia on the constitutional law governing religious group recognition and freedom in Italy, and am very excited to try to put these ideas into practice.”
Please identify a woman in your community who could benefit from this leadership development opportunity, and encourage her to apply.
WRJ has scholarship funds available to help with both the registration cost and travel expenses.
